Our datasets contain no personal data

CohortLoom datasets are synthetic by construction. They describe simulated people and contain no real patient data. This policy is about the business contact details we handle, not about the datasets.

What we collect

• Sample requests: your name, work email, company and what you plan to test, as typed into the form.
• Wait-list: your name, work email, company, role, the tier you're interested in and, if you add it, what you'd use it for. We also record that you ticked the consent box, the version of its wording and when.
• Email: messages you send us and our replies.
• Orders: Stripe processes payments and shares with us your name, email, billing address and what you bought. We don't receive your full card number.
• Prospecting: we may email people at organisations that may need synthetic test data, using business contact details published on public company pages. We record where each address came from.

The website uses no trackers, analytics or advertising cookies. If you choose a light or dark theme, that choice is stored only in your own browser. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs for security and operations.

Why we use it

• to answer your request and send the sample;
• to email wait-list members about CohortLoom, including when checkout opens, with their consent;
• to fulfil and support your order, and keep business records;
• to send business emails, which you can stop at any time.

Conway, our AI agent, reads and replies to these messages on our behalf. We don't sell your information, and we don't use it to train AI models.

The wait-list

Until checkout opens, you can join our wait-list. We collect the details listed above only with your explicit consent (an unticked box you tick yourself), and use them only to email you about CohortLoom, including when checkout opens. Wait-list details are deleted automatically after 12 months. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link or by replying "unsubscribe" to any of our emails, and you can ask us to delete your details at any time by writing to [email protected].

How long we keep it

Sample requests and wait-list entries are deleted automatically after 12 months unless they become a customer relationship. Order records are kept as long as the law requires. [Retention periods to be confirmed by counsel.]

Your choices

• Unsubscribe: reply "unsubscribe" to any of our emails or use the link in them. We stop within 24 hours.
• Access or deletion: write to [email protected] and a person will handle it.

Please don't send us patient information

Don't include real patient information in forms or emails. If it arrives anyway, we delete it.
